About Us

THE COASTAL ARTS LEAGUE: Supporting the arts and artists since 1979, CAL's mission is to develop and support creative artistic talent by encouraging, teaching and showcasing the talent of artists and art groups.

The Coastal Arts League (CAL) is the only public non-profit art gallery located on the San Mateo Coastside. The galleries are operated by a cooperative artists' collective and volunteers committed to the arts. The exhibition gallery provides a venue for Bay Area artists. Monthly shows feature the work of exceptional artists, groups, and art organizations.
