Mudslinging Doesn't Solve Problems, It Creates More
Whether it's political campaigns or disputes between agencies, once the mud starts to fly, it only makes it harder for everyone to move forward. Stating the obvious...we know. Regardless of how obvious the statement it is, the Coastside is currently in the middle of multiple such mudslinging events where community members are prodded and pitted against one another. The unfortunate reality of mudslinging is that it pulls focus from the real problem at hand, and more importantly, pulls energy from generating
Why We Wish Measure U Had Waited Until 2022
The reality for the hotels is that the voting community will most likely pass Measure U since it's not a tax on them. Locals get hit so often by rate increases from every direction it's a relief when a tax is on the other guy. It's important to check-in on our workplace culture from time to time. As employees, managers, and directors come and go, workplace cultures morph and evolve along with them. With the slow process of reopening from the pandemic, and the education being brought forth through the multiple social justice movements, this is a great time to evaluate your workplace culture and adjust if needed to foster a positive and inclusive environment. It is important that we continually communicate our workplace values to
The Chamber Supports Diversity

Every day is a day to listen, learn, and reflect on how we might do better tomorrow. The Chamber is here to support the entire Coastside and all of its people. It takes the diversity
